Meet the Founders
Founded by Matt Shaker and Luke Lloyd, our basketball club was created to give boys in Mid-Michigan a true home for development — one that prioritizes fundamentals, fosters competitive spirit, and builds character through the game.
We’re not just building teams. We’re building better athletes, better leaders, and a stronger basketball culture in our community.
Matt Shaker – Head Coach & Program Director
A lifelong student of the game and experienced coach, Matt leads our team operations and coaching staff. His focus is on developing complete players through structured practices, game-ready systems, and a commitment to hard work. Matt’s leadership on the sidelines sets the tone for discipline, teamwork, and competitive excellence.
Luke Lloyd – Director of Player Development & Inventor of the Dribble Stick
Luke brings a unique edge to our program as both a trainer and an innovator. This Former High School, College, and Pro Player is also the inventor of the Dribble Stick, a nationally recognized basketball training tool used by athletes, coaches, and programs at every level. His expertise in skill development — especially in ball handling, footwork, and court awareness — gives our players a major advantage. Luke’s passion for pushing athletes beyond the basics is a cornerstone of our development model.
